Technical supportA short explanation of what the storefront stores in your browser and why.
Compatinova is a software division of SentinelCore (Pty) Ltd.
On your first visit, the privacy banner offers “Essential only” and “Accept preferences”. Your choice is stored in a first-party cookie named cnv_consent for up to 180 days. You can clear that cookie in your browser to make the banner appear again.
Compatinova uses an essential PHP session cookie to maintain the cart, CSRF protection, anti-abuse state, checkout progress, PayPal order binding and authenticated download sessions. The session cookie is HTTP-only, uses SameSite=Lax and is marked Secure when the site is served over HTTPS. The storefront cannot safely provide checkout without this session.
If you accept preferences, the site may remember non-essential choices such as display/theme preferences in browser storage. Selecting Essential only removes the Compatinova consent preference from local storage where possible. Preference storage is not used for behavioural advertising.
PayPal resources are loaded on the payment step because they are necessary to provide the payment method you requested. PayPal may set or read cookies and process technical data under its own privacy/cookie terms. Compatinova does not use PayPal cookies to build an advertising profile.
Turnstile may be loaded on forms that require anti-bot verification. It is used for security and fraud prevention. If the challenge cannot render, Compatinova can provide its own alternative verification flow. Cloudflare processing is governed by Cloudflare’s applicable privacy terms.
This build does not enable third-party advertising pixels or behavioural analytics by default. If those features are introduced later, this notice and the consent mechanism should be updated before they are activated where consent or opt-out rights apply.
Compatinova does not currently sell personal information or use cross-context behavioural advertising, so there is no sale/share opt-out to apply. If the business introduces processing for which Global Privacy Control or another recognised signal must be honoured, the site should treat that signal as required by applicable law.
You can delete or block cookies using browser settings. Blocking essential session cookies will prevent cart, checkout and protected downloads from functioning correctly. Deleting cookies does not delete order records that must be retained for contractual, security or legal purposes.
