Security, compatibility and resilient delivery for protected web interactions.
Technical supportHow customer information is collected, protected, used and retained across checkout, support and digital delivery.
Compatinova is a software division of SentinelCore (Pty) Ltd.
Compatinova is the controller/responsible party for personal information it decides how and why to process. PayPal and other independent providers may act as separate controllers for their own services.
Depending on how you use the service, we collect identity and contact details (name, email, company and country), order and product details, support or implementation messages, consent records, PayPal order/capture references, download-entitlement records, download counts and timestamps, IP address used for security/audit purposes, and a one-way hash of the browser user-agent string for download records.
We do not intentionally receive or store your complete payment-card number, CVV or PayPal account password. Those credentials are processed by PayPal.
We use personal information to form and perform contracts, create and verify orders, deliver protected software, provide support, prevent fraud and unauthorised access, document consent, respond to disputes, maintain accounting records, comply with law and defend legal claims. Optional preference storage is used only when you choose it through the privacy banner.
Where GDPR, UK GDPR or another law requiring a lawful basis applies, processing may rely on performance of a contract, steps requested before entering a contract, compliance with legal obligations, legitimate interests in secure commerce, fraud prevention and support, and consent where consent is the appropriate basis. The precise legal basis can vary according to the law that applies to you and the processing activity involved.
Information may be disclosed as necessary to PayPal for payment and disputes; Cloudflare Turnstile for anti-bot verification on forms where enabled; hosting/infrastructure providers; and the configured email provider for transactional messages. These providers process data under their own contracts, privacy terms and security arrangements. We disclose only what is reasonably required for the service or legal obligation.
Service providers may process information in countries different from yours. Where transfer restrictions apply, Compatinova will rely on an available lawful transfer mechanism or the provider’s applicable safeguards. The exact provider location can depend on the hosting, email and PayPal account configuration in use at the time.
Order and payment-reference records are retained as long as reasonably required for accounting, tax, fraud prevention, support and legal claims. Download credentials expire after 30 days, but order and download-event evidence may be retained longer where needed to resolve disputes or comply with law. Support/implementation correspondence is periodically reviewed and deleted or minimised when no longer required.
Retention periods may be extended where litigation, a PayPal dispute, security incident or legal hold requires it.
Controls include HTTPS-dependent secure session cookies, CSRF protection, server-side price and PayPal capture verification, rate limiting, password hashing, non-public product storage, authenticated download streaming, download counters, content-security headers and restricted storage directories. No internet service can promise absolute security.
Where GDPR or UK GDPR applies, you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability, withdrawal of consent and complaint to the competent supervisory authority. Some rights are limited where information must be retained for contracts, accounting, fraud prevention or legal claims.
Depending on the privacy law that applies to you, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability or other controls over personal information, as well as a right to complain to an applicable regulator or supervisory authority. Requests should be sent to the privacy contact below. We may need to verify identity before disclosing account information.
Residents of certain US states may have rights to know/access, correct, delete, obtain a copy of, or opt out of specified uses of personal information, subject to statutory thresholds and exceptions. Compatinova does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising as part of this storefront. We do not discriminate for exercising applicable privacy rights.
The storefront is intended for business users and adults able to enter a contract. We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children through checkout.
See the Cookie notice for essential session cookies, the privacy-choice cookie, display preferences and third-party payment/security components. Advertising cookies are not enabled by default.
Privacy requests can be sent to support@compatinova.com. Please identify the relevant order or email address without sending passwords or payment-card details. If a request affects another person’s information, additional verification may be required.
This notice may be updated when products, processors, legal requirements or data practices change. Material changes will be reflected by a new review date and, where required, an additional notice or consent step.
