Security, compatibility and resilient delivery for protected web interactions.
Technical supportClear purchase, delivery and use terms for Compatinova software and services.
Compatinova is a software division of SentinelCore (Pty) Ltd.
These Terms govern use of the Compatinova website, purchases of downloadable software, and any separately quoted implementation or support services. The seller is Compatinova, an online software brand and division of SentinelCore (Pty) Ltd., supplying digital products and services to customers across multiple jurisdictions and contactable using the details below. If you buy for an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind it.
Product pages, the Software Licence, Privacy Notice and Refund Policy form part of the contract. If a written implementation quotation expressly conflicts with these Terms, that quotation controls only for the quoted service.
Prices and currency are shown before payment. Product identity and price are re-verified on the server when the PayPal order is created and again before digital fulfilment. An order is accepted only after PayPal reports a completed capture that matches the server-side amount, currency and order reference.
You are responsible for accurate checkout details and any taxes, duties or reporting obligations lawfully allocated to you. Compatinova may refuse or cancel an unpaid, duplicate, fraudulent or technically invalid order.
PayPal processes payment credentials under its own terms and privacy practices. Compatinova does not receive or store your complete card number, CVV or PayPal password. Card funding may be offered by PayPal depending on the buyer, country and account eligibility.
PayPal Buyer Protection, chargeback rights and any PayPal dispute process are separate from this contract and remain governed by PayPal and applicable law. Compatinova may provide PayPal with transaction, delivery and access records reasonably required to respond to a dispute or fraud review.
After confirmed payment, Compatinova creates an order-specific download account. The username is the purchaser email and a cryptographically generated password is sent to that address. Passwords are stored only as one-way hashes. Product ZIP files are not linked directly from the public web root; the download controller validates the account and entitlement before streaming a file.
Unless a product page states otherwise, access lasts 30 days and each purchased product is limited to 10 successful downloads. These controls protect the software and provide a reliable record of delivery. They do not expand the licence scope.
At checkout you expressly request that digital supply begin immediately after payment and acknowledge the consequences that may apply to statutory cancellation rights once supply or access begins. This request is recorded with the order.
This does not remove mandatory rights concerning digital content that is faulty, unsafe, not as described, or otherwise protected by non-waivable law.
Each edition is designed for the platform stated on its product page. You should confirm your target platform, server requirements, form architecture and third-party dependencies before purchase. Compatibility software can be affected by browser policy, hosting configuration, caching, security software and third-party service changes outside Compatinova control.
Where a reproducible product defect is established, Compatinova will use reasonable skill and care to provide a correction, workaround, replacement or other remedy required by applicable law.
Purchase grants only the licence described in the Software Licence. Ownership of Compatinova source code, documentation, branding and original materials is not transferred. You may not publish credentials, bypass delivery controls, redistribute the package as a competing download, or use the service to infringe third-party rights.
Implementation is not included unless a product page or written quotation expressly says so. Service scope, access requirements, delivery window and charges should be agreed before work begins. You remain responsible for authorised backups, access credentials and approval of production changes.
Compatinova offers a voluntary 30-day unused-code money-back guarantee subject to the Refund Policy. The voluntary guarantee is unavailable after the code has been downloaded, accessed, activated, installed, copied, deployed or otherwise used. This commercial condition does not limit non-waivable remedies for defective, misdescribed or unlawfully supplied digital content.
If UK or EEA consumer law applies, mandatory digital-content quality and remedy rights remain available. Where the law permits immediate digital supply to end a cancellation period, that result applies only after the legally required express request/consent and acknowledgement. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
If consumer-protection law in your country, state or territory applies to a purchase, any rights that cannot lawfully be excluded remain available. This can include mandatory rights relating to disclosure, digital-content quality, cancellation, repair, replacement, price reduction, refund or other remedies. These Terms do not contract out of protections that applicable law makes mandatory.
For US consumers, applicable federal and state consumer-protection, privacy, warranty and unfair-practices laws remain in force. Rights vary by state. Any limitation or remedy in these Terms applies only to the extent permitted in the buyer’s jurisdiction.
You must keep order credentials confidential and use reasonable security for systems on which the software is installed. You may not attempt to access another customer’s order, probe or circumvent checkout/download controls, interfere with the site, distribute malware, or use Compatinova products to violate law or third-party rights.
To the extent permitted by law, third-party platforms and services are provided by their respective operators and are outside Compatinova’s control. Compatinova does not promise that an external platform will remain unchanged or continuously available.
Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including applicable liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence where the law so provides, or mandatory consumer remedies. For business purchases, aggregate contractual liability for an affected order is limited to the amount paid for that order unless a written agreement states otherwise.
The contract is governed by the law applicable to the seller’s principal establishment, without depriving a consumer of mandatory protections available in the country or state where they habitually reside. Before formal proceedings, both parties should make a reasonable attempt to resolve the issue through support or the applicable PayPal dispute channel.
Terms may be updated prospectively as products, law or payment requirements change. The version accepted at checkout governs that purchase unless mandatory law requires otherwise. Questions can be sent to support@compatinova.com.
