Security, compatibility and resilient delivery for protected web interactions.
Technical supportThe practical rules for installing, modifying and protecting a purchased Compatinova edition.
Compatinova is a software division of SentinelCore (Pty) Ltd.
Subject to payment and compliance with this Licence, Compatinova grants the purchaser a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable commercial licence to use the purchased edition within the installation scope stated on its product page and order record. Ownership is not transferred.
A single-site licence covers one production website. A single-application licence covers one production application or deployment. Development, local and staging copies are permitted only when they exist solely to develop, test or maintain that same licensed production deployment.
You may modify source code as reasonably necessary for the licensed deployment and may make internal backup copies. Your modifications do not expand the licence to additional sites or customers. Support may exclude problems caused by unsupported modifications until the issue is reproduced against an unmodified supported version.
An agency or developer may purchase for a named client and may install the product for that client. Reuse for another client, website or application requires another licence or a separately signed multi-site/agency agreement.
You may not resell or redistribute the Compatinova package or source as a standalone or competing product; publish the source in a public repository; sublicense it except as expressly agreed; share order/download credentials; remove ownership notices where technically present; or use the source primarily to create a substitute commercial package for redistribution.
Nothing in this Licence overrides third-party open-source licence rights that lawfully apply to third-party components included with a product. Any such component remains governed by its own licence.
The product page states the update period and support included with the purchase. Updates may change compatibility requirements. Support covers the purchased product and documented integration path; unrelated application development, hosting administration and third-party outages are outside scope unless separately agreed.
Download credentials are personal to the order and may not be shared publicly. You must take reasonable steps to protect source code and credentials from unauthorised disclosure. A compromised credential should be reported promptly to support.
The licence may terminate for material breach, including unauthorised redistribution or deliberate circumvention of licensing/delivery controls, after any notice/cure period required by law. On termination you must cease unlicensed use and remove copies not lawfully retained. Accrued statutory rights and provisions intended to survive termination remain unaffected.
This Licence is subject to the Terms, Refund Policy and mandatory consumer law. It does not limit rights that cannot legally be waived, including applicable remedies for defective or misdescribed digital content.
